Midroc has developed the World Trade Center in Malmö with an additional office building. The building consists of a lower section with five floors and a higher section with 10 floors. A middle section houses the reception area and conference room as well as a restaurant. 

The World Trade Center offers office space and premises for companies in all branches and all sizes. Many of them have regional or head offices here. The goal is to, through targeted activities, work for an increased business exchange locally, regionally and internationally.

The building has been executed according to comprehensive studies with respect to the building’s total energy balance. The technology was formulated according to calculations carried out in collaboration between The Faculty of Engineering at Lund University and the real estate owners Belok Group.  

Midroc chose to invest in several energy saving measures; the use of double glazed glass facade in combination with other materials for the exterior, automatic solar canopies, demand controlled lighting, demand and motion controlled ventilation with air-borne cooling system and controlling of engines and machines.
